Our missionaries, Jacob and Elizabeth Delich in Puerto Rico, recently shared how God has used something as simple as pickleball to open doors for Gospel conversations and discipleship opportunities. ⁠
⁠
Through relationships built on the court, they’ve had opportunities to encourage believers in their testimony, connect with people searching for truth, and even see new visitors begin attending church and reading their Bibles. What started as a way to stay active and connect with the community has become a meaningful avenue for ministry.⁠

This summer, she will serve on the volunteer staff for the elementary program at BMW’s Journeys training in Marietta, SC, helping lead Explore Express, supporting, teaching, and building meaningful relationships with the kids throughout the week.⁠

Joel Bourdess, our BMW videographer, recently had the opportunity to travel to Kodiak, Alaska, where he sat down with BMW missionary Andy Conway to hear more about his ministry firsthand. Andy serves people with special needs through Bible studies, a thrift store that provides real job opportunities, and his involvement with the Special Olympics. As updates continue to come in from our missionaries and ministry partners following Easter, we wanted to share a glimpse of what God did in Utah County, Utah, where fewer than 1% profess Christ among a population of over 800,000.

At Alpine Bible Church, believers gathered after their Easter service to celebrate baptisms and heaven rejoiced. On Easter Sunday, 25 people were baptized, many of them first generation Christians, stepping forward in faith and publicly declaring new life in Christ.

This is what it’s all about, lives made new, faith made visible, and a church family standing together in love.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Last month, the church hosted a Chinese New Year celebration with a packed house! The day was filled with joy, food, friendship, and the presence of our Lord, as many attendees heard God’s Word for the first time.⁠

In Afghanistan, Compassion Medical runs a small bakery…not for profit, not for recognition, but because people are hungry. Every day, warm naan is given freely to those in need. Orphans are given jobs. Families are cared for. And through something as simple as bread, the love of God is shared.

But recently, violence reached their doorstep.

The bakery was hit.
Windows blown out.
The oven destroyed.
Floors damaged.
The front of the building shattered.

The bakery that once fed so many… has gone quiet.

And yet — the mission is still the mission.
The need has not changed.
And the heart behind it is just as strong as ever.

Scripture reminds us: “Whatever you have done for the least of these, you have done it unto Me.” This bakery lives that out every single day.

Stories like this are exactly what the Impossible Fund exists for: helping ministry continue where it’s needed most.

In Afghanistan, Compassion Medical runs a small bakery…not for profit, not for recognition, but because people are hungry. Every day, warm naan is given freely to those in need. Orphans are given jobs. Families are cared for. And through something as simple as bread, the love of God is shared.

But recently, violence reached their doorstep.

The bakery was hit.

The oven destroyed.
