Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. (Psalm 67)
A desire for God to receive the worship he is due fuels my commitment to missions. I served with BMW in Provo, Utah from 2006 to 2015. Then I served in the “supply line”—recruiting and equipping the next generation at my alma mater, Appalachian Bible College. My burden for people deceived by false religion never left, nor did my love for Utah. In 2025, God graciously opened the door for my return to the West and to the “front line” of missions.
Why Utah? It's the least evangelized state in America. In my county, we estimate there is only 1 Christian church for every 22,000 people. Let's do something about that.
I live in Spanish Fork, an hour's drive south of Salt Lake City. Like many Utah towns, Spanish Fork is growing: since 2010 the population has increased about 25%. Of the 47,000 people, more than 90% are estimated to identify as Latter-day Saints (Mormons).
A church planting team launched Aspen Grove Bible Church in 2023 and I joined the efforts of establishing a healthy local church in Spanish Fork—a church that, in time, plants more churches! I’m focusing on evangelism and discipleship; other areas where I serve and help develop future leaders include website and media, hospitality, kids' ministries, and music.
Rejoice with me over God’s leading, and pray that I steward this opportunity well. As hearts are transformed and local churches are established, God receives the glory. “Let all the peoples praise You!”
