Joëny was born and raised in Madagascar and moved to Johannesburg, South Africa in 2015 to serve at Onthatile Children’s Ministries. The ministry is dedicated to caring for orphaned and vulnerable children through love, education, and biblical discipleship.

Since arriving, Joëny has been serving faithfully in many areas of the ministry, including providing biblical education, counseling, mentorship, and using music to bring joy and help children grow spiritually, emotionally, and academically. Her desire is not only to care for the children’s physical and educational needs, but especially to point them to Christ and help them build a strong foundation in God’s Word.

In addition to her work at the children’s ministry, Joëny also serves at Antioch Bible Church, where she is involved in discipleship, children’s ministry, and outreach. Her heart is to share the gospel, disciple young people, and see lives transformed through the truth of Scripture.

Joëny is deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve in this ministry and is thankful for those who partner with her through prayer, encouragement, and financial support. Through these partnerships, more children are reached, discipled, and cared for, and the gospel continues to impact lives for eternity.
