Dan & Debbie Willoughby

Hi.  We are Dan and Debbie Willoughby. Thank you for praying for us and supporting us!! 

We minister in Berlin, Germany.  We arrived here (again!) in December 2021.  What? Yes. We ministered here from 1990 (immediately after the Wall fell!) to 2008. God then called us to South Africa to minister to both the indigenous and refugees/foreigners there.  In 2021 God called us back to Berlin.  Huge Additional Blessing: we get to minister AND be close to our 2 daughters (and their families - six grandkiddos)!!  yoooowhooooo!!!  Thank you LORD!!!

God has brought us back to work alongside a young church plant in downtown Berlin, Cornerstone Church (Eckstein Gemeinde).  We are “ministering grandparents” to this young body of believers.  We work alongside of the eldership, mentoring as well as discipling young and older believers, practicing Biblical counseling.   

God gifted us uniquely for evangelistic purposes. He (God) is continuously opening doors for us to share the Gospel with neighbors, friends, and many strangers. We invite people, Debbie cooks, in order to build relationships.  

Our Church has grown significantly, so we are looking to some vaiable solutions; a second service or another church plant! 

One of our coworkers, Chrisine, has kept contact with and ministered to the Heaing impared grouop.  As a church, we are now working to “re-boot” the hearing-impaired ministry.  Dan now leads a Bible class for the hearing-impaired twice a month. We hope and pray that we will soon be interpreting the services.  Pray much for Dan as he needs to refresh his German sign language! 

We continue to help in as many ways as possible in Ukrainian.  I have driven Aid and relief help already 6 times.  As winter starts, they need MUCH more food and clothing!!!  Please contribute to this great need. the winters in Ukraine are very hard, and people are in desparate need!!!
