An Insurmountable Challenge
A large city, with no professing believers, and a community who doesn’t trust outsiders sounds like an insurmountable challenge. For our missionary team, this is the reality they live in every day. When the need for God’s gospel is immense and the people are segregated, how can a missionary engage the culture? By using their God-given gifts.
In South America that is what these missionaries are doing. One missionary who is passionate about writing searched for a group of writers in this town of unbelievers. The result? A new group of individuals, that he likely would not have met otherwise, were influenced by the gospel.
It’s a simple story of how God equips his followers to fulfill unique roles, in unique places, in a way that glorifies Him and spreads His message. How has He equipped you?
