August 2003
Engine (Custom Airmotive) and prop (Foster's propeller) were overhauled. All engine accessories were overhauled or replaced. At the same time, the front two seats were re-upholstered with fabric and leather trim, (fifth seat is original Helio fabric/vinyl) new headliner installed, JASCO alternator installed, Electronics International Fuel flow/pressure gauge installed, airspeed indicator overhauled, installed new side panels, installed all new insulation in cabin area, installed later style Helio fuel caps. Both ailerons were replaced with JAARS overhauled units.

September 2004
Installed new seats belts on front and rear seats, replaced all side windows, installed new instrument panel, and replaced all fuses with circuit breakers.

May 2005
Replaced all three tires with new, replaced brake pucs on right main and replaced skin section in front of upper door hinge pilot's side.

August 2005
Replaced horizontal stabilator with rebuilt unit from JAARS. Replaced trim tab and anti-servo tab, one with new unit and one with overhauled unit from JAARS.

The propeller was replaced in 1998 with the new style that is not affected by AD97-18-02.

It has Goodyear Crosswind gear with a lock, bush refueling steps and the extended baggage area with reinforced floor and baggage door like the later model Helios.
