Teams that restructure organizations say that 5% of change is knowing what needs changing, 15% is knowing how to change it, and 80% is working the changes through with the people involved. Many church leaders forget the last 80%.

The methods, traditions and values of a congregation, their comfort with the familiar, their expectations of sameness, and fear of unknown methods and doctrinal error may all be fighting against changes that are badly needed in your church. What do you do?

This workshop endeavors to give some practical tips on how church leaders should handle proposing and implementing major changes in the church with maximum consensus and minimal dissent.
