THE IMPORTANCE OF VISION

Vision is a critical component in the mindset of any organization that intends to move forward. According to George Barna, vision for ministry is "a clear mental image of a preferable future imparted by God to His chosen servants and is based upon an accurate understanding of God, self and circumstances."

But no matter how big and audacious the vision of a Christian organization may be, our strategies and plans must be in submission to the will of God when He shows us a different path (Acts 16:6-10, James 4:13-17). Man makes his plans, but God directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9).
